Website Development Prices: What Does a Website Cost in 2026?
Published:
What really sets the price: the type of site
What a website has to do sets its price more than anything else. Roughly there are three types: a corporate site that presents your company, an online shop that sells products, and a site that needs its own software (a booking system, a business directory, a member area and so on).
A corporate site is a handful of pages: home, about, services, contact, maybe a blog. An online shop adds product pages, a cart, payments and stock. Custom software has no ready-made template; it is written for what is needed. The work grows in that order.
What our work starts from
A corporate website starts from $200 and an online shop from $300. For sites that need custom software the scope sets the price; we send a quote once we have talked through what is needed.
These are starting prices. The number of pages, multiple languages, custom design requests or systems to connect to the site push the price up; we give the exact figure once the scope is clear.
Paid once, paid every year
The design and build of the site are paid once. Beyond that there are two costs renewed every year: the domain (such as yourcompany.com) and the hosting, the server the site lives on. You buy both in your own name and we handle the setup, so the site always stays registered to you.
A secure connection certificate (SSL) comes free with most hosting companies. Some WordPress plugins and themes need a yearly licence; if a paid plugin is needed, it is worth discussing before the build. On Shopify you pay a monthly subscription instead of hosting.
WordPress or custom code?
If you will update the content yourself, WordPress is a good choice: because the admin panel is ready, it is usually quicker to set up than writing the same features from scratch. We built the boxing school, Firmayap and Hazır Tur sites on WordPress.
When speed and a distinctive design come first, custom code on a framework such as Next.js may suit better; this site itself was built that way. We covered the pros and cons of both in our post "WordPress or a Custom-Coded Site?".
How long does it take?
A corporate site usually goes live within 1-2 weeks with us, an online shop within 2-3 weeks. What delays a project most is content arriving late: once texts, product details and photos are ready, the work speeds up.
If the site has to be ready by a certain date, tell us at the start and we plan the scope around it.
After launch: maintenance
The work goes on after launch: updating WordPress and its plugins, taking backups, small text and image changes. With us, fixes in the first month after launch are free; after that we continue with a monthly maintenance fee.
If you would rather maintain the site yourself or with someone else, that works too: once payment is complete, the site's source code and all rights pass to you.
When comparing quotes
Compare quotes by scope, not only by the number: how many pages, which features, who enters the content, whose name the domain and hosting are in, how much support there is after handover, who keeps the source code. Two quotes with the same figure can describe very different jobs.
Write us a few lines about what you need and we will pin down the scope together and tell you the price and timeline. You can see the sites we have built in our portfolio.
